"ACCESS CODE": an algorave concert "HACKING THE SOUND"

During the Algorave, guests will witness music being created in real time. Right before the audience's eyes, musicians will write program code that instantly transforms into a soundscape. The programming process itself—livecoding—will be broadcast on screens, becoming part of the performance and allowing them to see how algorithms take shape.

Participants:

Anna Pryakhina (Murmansk), sound artist and livecoder, multimedia artist, creator of technological and sound objects, and developer of audio devices. At the concert, she will perform a livecoding session in the esoteric programming language Orca.

TEK-95 (St. Petersburg) is a project by Danila Filatov, a producer, livecoder, and DJ whose compositions in a wide range of genres—from techno to breakbeat and ghetto-electro—have been performed at the renowned Boiler Room, Berlin's Tresor club, as well as in Bangkok and Istanbul. In November 2025, the musician presented Russia's first techno live performance in the Strudel JavaScript environment in St. Petersburg. At the concert, he will expand on this experience, combining neural networks and physical electronic instruments, controlling sound through code.

Trophallaxis & Egor Efremov (Moscow) is a duo of livecoder Satyarth Mishra Sharma and musician Egor Efremov, a researcher at the Cryptography Museum. They create experimental electronic music inspired by cryptographic algorithms, modular arithmetic, and the history of mathematics. Encryption algorithms here generate pseudo-random sequences that control analog and digital synthesizers and drum machines, creating hypnotic rhythms and arpeggios.
