⚫️ Voice participatory performance “Hum”

Voice participatory performance "Hum".
Biennale of street art Artmossphere at Winzavod.

The performance visualizes collectivity as a process and a result, when the assembly of collectivity begins with difference and is gradually reassembled. Individually selected phrases of the participants about collectivity - in the process of performance, are destroyed and merged into a general hum, reduced to individual words and sounds and in the end reassembled into new phrases about collectivity, each time different, each time transforming the very concept of collectivity among the participants.
It is differences, not similarities, that unite and provide the critical framework for the explanatory power of words. The process of collectivity unites at the level of bodily and sound feeling.

The author of the performance, Irina Gulyakina, laid down the experience of living together in the artistic Community 22.

The performance was shown at the opening of the street art biennale Artmossphere on May 31 and June 1 and 2.
